Oya’s journey is a testament to resilience and transformation. With a background in computer engineering and years in the corporate world, she faced health challenges that led her to yoga—especially after a knee injury that doctors said required surgery. Choosing yoga over surgery, she began practicing Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, and through dedicated practice, her knee healed completely. This experience inspired her to help others overcome injuries and health issues through yoga

Motherhood brought Oya new strength and perspective. It deepened her mental and emotional resilience, teaching her to adapt her practice and approach to life. Yoga became a source of self-care, patience, and balance, helping her navigate the demands of parenting while staying grounded and present

Oya’s teaching style blends active and calming practices, integrating the power of pranayama and meditation for a harmonious experience. Her background in strength training and dance further enriches her classes, offering students a holistic approach to movement and well-being.

Practicing yoga since 2009, Oya is a Yoga Alliance UK 200-hour certified teacher. She currently teaches in Prague in both English and Turkish, sharing her passion and knowledge with a diverse community. Oya’s classes invite students to discover their own strength, heal, and grow—on and off the mat.
