With a background in computer engineering and working in the corporate life for long years, Oya started to experience health problems. Her knee injury, which was told by doctors to need a surgery, brought her to yoga. She decided to not to have the surgery and go and discover if yoga can help her. She started with Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and after years full of practice, her knee injury completely disappeared. This inspired her and she wanted to spread this knowledge to other people who have injuries and other health problems. She met with her gurus, Nancy Gilgoff, Manju Jois, Dalibor Štědronský, Mukesh Kothari and Bobbi Misiti during her practice. Oya teaches yoga in active and calming styles. She believes in the power of pranayama & meditation, which can lead to more harmonized physical practice. Oya is practicing yoga since 2009 and she is a Yoga Allianze UK 200 hours certified teacher and currently, she is teaching yoga for the people in Prague in English and Turkish languages.
